    WHITEFISH LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVIEW STUDY COMMISSION

    NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitefish Local Government Review Study Commission will hold a public hearing on July 2, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Whitefish City Council Chambers located at 418 East Second Street in Whitefish. The purpose of the study commission, as defined in MCA 7-3-172, is to study the existing form and powers of the local government and procedures for delivery of local government services and compare them with other forms available under the laws of the state. The commission invites all interested parties to attend the public hearing and provide comments relevant to its Tentative Report. If you would like to review a copy of the proposed Tentative Report or have questions, please contact the Whitefish City Clerk at mhowke@cityofwhitefish.gov or 406-863-2402.     Individuals may attend in person to provide comments or submit written testimony for the hearing to comment on the proposed Tentative Report. Written comments may be delivered or mailed to the Whitefish City Clerk, 418 E. 2nd St., PO Box 158, Whitefish, MT, 59937, or emailed to mhowke@cityofwhitefish.gov by 4 p.m. on July 2, 2025.
