PLAN AMENDMENTS PROPOSED FOR AUGUST 20, 2026 PLANNING COMMISSION

There are a number of plan amendments proposed for an upcoming August 20, 2026 Planning Commission Work Session and Public Meeting. The work session will begin at 5PM and the public hearing is scheduled for 6PM.

The proposed plan amendments are generally described as the following:

1. An analysis and objectives related to scenic resources added to the land use element and economic development element as directed by the City Council.
2. Revisions to the placetypes map and place type descriptions to match existing conditions.
3. A new plan implementation chapter.
