Who's Listening

Maria Butts is the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services for the City of Whitefish.  She has over 15 years of experience in the Parks and Recreation field, and over 20 years of public service.  She is a faculty member of the National Recreation Park Association’s Directors School and has been an executive board member of Montana Trails, Recreation & Parks Association for more than 10 years. Maria is a graduate of Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Masters in Secondary Education.   In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, biking, paddleboarding, and alpine and cross-country skiing with her husband and cattle dog, Jasper.  

Jennie Bradford is the Parks and Recreation Operations Specialist for the City of Whitefish. She has over 5 years of experience in the Parks and Recreation field, and over 15 years of public service. She is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional with the National Recreation Park Association and has been an executive board member of Montana Trails, Recreation & Parks Association for more than 2 years.

Jennie is a graduate of Ottawa University in Ottawa, ON Canada where she graduated with her master’s in human kinetics with specialization in performance psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys scrambles, summits, and ski touring, particularly in Glacier and Waterton National Parks.
